Welder/Fabricator
We are a truck upfitting and fabrication shop specializing in custom solutions for commercial, fleet, and specialty vehicles. Our work includes service bodies, flatbeds, utility racks, tool storage, accessories, and custom metal fabrication. We take pride in quality craftsmanship and are looking to add a skilled Fabricator or Welder to our team.
Position Overview
The Fabricator will be responsible for hands-on metal fabrication and installation work related to truck upfitting projects. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete builds efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and install custom truck upfit components
Perform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and metal fitting
Assist with installation of service bodies, racks, toolboxes, and accessories
Read and follow work orders, measurements, and basic drawings
Ensure quality workmanship and proper fitment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with troubleshooting and rework as needed
Required Qualifications
2+ years of fabrication or metalworking experience (truck upfitting preferred)
MIG welding experience (TIG a plus)
Experience using shop tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc.)
Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Reliable attendance and positive team attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with vehicle or truck upfitting
Basic electrical or accessory installation experience
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
